Landings Group Gives Back

The Riverfront Children's Center | Long Meadow Landings celebrated their first annual holiday toy drive this year and received some wonderful donations! The toys will go to The Riverfront Children's Center, which is a local family center in Groton, Connecticut that provides high quality childcare and education for children ages 12-weeks through 4th grade. Long Meadow Landings is excited about this new tradition of giving and is looking forward to next year's event!

Potter League for Animals | We are a proud supporter of the Potter League for Animals, a non-profit animal shelter located in Middletown, Rhode Island that provides adoption services, education, training and support programs for animals and their owners. Programs include a pantry for pet food assistance as well as low-cost veterinary care for over 3,500 income-qualifying Rhode Island residents. LREG has been a proud supporter and sponsor for over ten years at several events, including the Heart & Sole Walk and the Love Bash Silent Auction.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center | On September 20th, 2023, we gathered to celebrate our business successes with our investor partners at Vacation Newport's Town & Tide Inn, located in Newport, Rhode Island. As part of the event, we raffled off a brand new bluetooth enabled vinyl record player with proceeds to benefit the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center here in our home city of Newport. Our investor partners and employees together raised $760 for the organization, which provides hunger and education programs benefiting the greater community.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Newport County | In September of 2023, Landings Real Estate Group's team members built bikes for children in need as part of a program hosted by TeamBonding. Together, we built 22 bikes at our annual company outing at Kempenaar's Clambake Club in Middletown, Rhode Island. Our giving spirit is an integral part of our culture at Landings Real Estate Group, and a fun-filled day of team bonding was the perfect opportunity to give back to the community!

Rhode Island State Police | In August of 2023, Landings Real Estate Group and its employees made generous contributions to a state-wide school supplies drive hosted by the Rhode Island State Police. The company as well as several employees individually made contributions of supplies such as backpacks, notebooks, pens and art supplies. The goal of this drive is to not only ease the financial burden of families as they go back to school, but to establish a friendly presence of law enforcement in classrooms, neighborhoods and the general community.

Portsmouth Grid Iron Club | Landings Real Estate Group is proud to have made several gift contributions to the silent auctions held by the Portsmouth Grid Iron Club. The Portsmouth Grid Iron Club is a volunteer organization established to support the community in its endeavor to develop excellent players and successful students. The organization strives to promote, develop and encourage a positive relationship and spirit of camaraderie in the Portsmouth community.

Amos House | In 2023, Landings Real Estate Group made a live auction contribution of $1,000 towards the Annual Amos House Charity Golf Tournament. What is Amos House? "Since 1976, Amos House has been a staple of the Rhode Island nonprofit community, serving the homeless, unemployed, and those who are living in poverty. From our humble beginnings in 1976 as a small soup kitchen, to today's place as a leading agency in the Rhode Island nonprofit community, we have always been here to serve those who need us." Dancing with the Stars of Mentoring | Dancing with the Stars of Mentoring is an annual event hosted by Mentor Rhode Island. This organization facilitates quality mentoring relationships for young people across the state to help them succeed in their educational and professional careers. We are very proud to have supported Mentor Rhode Island and this wonderful event for the past three years.

Children's Friend | The importance of family and dedication to our community are integral to the values of Landings Real Estate Group. Children's Friend is a Rhode Island based organization dedicated to the safety and well-being of young children in our communities. This past Christmas, LREG donated $3,000 to the organization and we look forward to supporting their efforts in the future!

My Brother's Keeper | In December of 2023, South Coast Landings celebrated the holiday season and gave back to families in need with their 3rd Annual Giving Tree. Our staff and community provided gifts to 22 families in Southeastern Massachusetts in partnership with My Brother's Keeper and The Greater Boston Food Bank. South Coast Landings also celebrated their 5th Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive, which was very successful in collecting non perishables for those in need.

Franklin Food Pantry | For Thanksgiving 2022, the community at Franklin Landings collected over 75 pounds of food for those in need. Last year, the Franklin Food Pantry provided 26,292 bags of groceries to more than 1,100 people in over 500 households. We are proud to support this organization and look forward to future contributions in the years to come.
