Assistant Maintenance Technician/Porter
Saddle Brook Landings Apartment Community is seeking a reliable and skilled assistant maintenance technician/porter to join our team of skilled professionals at our multi-family apartment community located in Jacksonville, FL. The maintenance technician assistant/porter is responsible for performing various general maintenance and cleaning functions that are necessary to maintain and enhance the appearance and value of the community. The selected applicant must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic, keen eye for detail and have the ability to multi-task. The hired applicant must also offer good communication skills, basic maintenance skills, be cognizant of deadlines and practice excellent time management.
Job Duties Include:
• Maintain common area buildings; mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and window cleaning.
• Assist with townhome and apartment cleaning.
• Preform steam cleanings in occupied and unoccupied units.
• Prepare vacant units for move-in.
• Grounds maintenance.
• Assist with interior and exterior painting projects as needed.
• Assist maintenance team with minor property repairs as needed.
• Perform other duties assigned.
• Available for after-hours emergency requests.
• Responsible for monthly training courses.
Experience and Qualifications:
• Must maintain professional appearance and comply with prescribed uniform policy.
Additional Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and automobile insurance.
• Background check and pre-employment drug test required.
