Porter/Maintenance Technician:
Landings Real Estate Group has an immediate full-time opening for an experienced and reliable Cleaner/Porter based at our apartment communities located in the Groton/New London, CT area. The Cleaner/Porter is responsible for performing various maintenance cleaning functions that are necessary to maintain and enhance the value of our properties. The Porter ensures that all assigned tasks are handled promptly and completed in a timely manner, in keeping with our high standards. Hired applicant will possess excellent attention to detail, have basic maintenance knowledge and be able to work in a team atmosphere. Must be flexible with daily job duties and schedule.
Job Duties
- Preparing vacant units for move-in
- Building cleaning
- Grounds maintenance and all activities associated with landscaping & snow removal
- Available for after-hours emergency requests
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write and understand English.
- Must have a valid Driver's License and automobile insurance
- Must be reachable via phone or pager, except during approved time off.
- Must be able to work evenings and weekend hours and be available for on call status.
- Background check and pre-employment drug test required.
