Who We Are Looking For:

Vacation Newport, our brand of luxury vacation properties in Newport, RI, is seeking a Guest Services Representative. In this role the Guest Services Representative will be responsible for making reservations, greeting, and assisting all guests.

Position Qualifications:

• Hotel front desk or customer service experience
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Must have a positive, can-do attitude, must be energetic and flexible
• Problem resolution skills
• Must be a team player
• Proficiency in Microsoft office, property management software a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be able to work weekends, some holidays and on call

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work with a team to provide excellent customer service to all guests
• Be knowledgeable of the property(ies) and answer all guest questions
• Coordinate with the sales and reservation teams in regards to bookings and inquiries
• Anticipate guest needs, resolve any guest requests or issues
• Concierge duties, must be knowledgeable of the area and activities for guests

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 2 years' experience in customer service, reservations, or sales
• Background check and pre-employment drug test required
