Landings Real Estate Group is part of a joint venture with Hunt Development Group and DCK North America, known as Eglin Properties, LLC, that has been awarded a contract by the Department of Air Force for the design, development, financing, and construction of the Emerald Coast Technology and Research Center at the Eglin Air Force Base. This project involves the ground lease of approximately 98 acres of land adjacent to the Eglin West Main Gate. Anchored by the University of Florida's Research Education & Engineering Facility (REEF), the proposed development will include approximately 1.1 million square feet of class A office, technology, and research space supported by an education cluster of undergraduate and graduate level research and training facilities, complimented by student housing and a variety of amenities including a conference center with a nightly stay hotel facility, a health and wellness center, an extended stay hotel facility, a mid-scale restaurant, a child development center, and allocated space for an Okaloosa County EDC incubator project. This project is expected to begin in late 2011.

Landings Real Estate Group is part of a joint venture with dck North America, known as Saufley Group, LLC, that has been awarded a contract by the Department of the Navy for the redevelopment, design, financing, construction, and management of the Center for Innovation and Technology at Saufley Field. This Enhanced Use Lease project involves the ground lease of approximately 104 acres of land and existing structures at Saufley Field, an outlying air field of Naval Air Station Pensacola. The proposed development consists of approximately 250,000 square feet of renovated office, light industrial, and air field hangar space, much of which involves Georgian structures located in an historic district, and approximately 600,000 square feet of new class A office, hangar, and mixed-use light industrial, retail, and residential space. The new corporate park will utilize open green spaces, view corridors, and courtyard parks, as well as an abundance of amenities such as a fitness center, casual dining, and potential hospitality space, to attract a variety of corporate tenants. Close cooperation among the Saufley Group, the US Navy, Escambia County, and the City of Pensacola will help to initiate this vital economic development initiative, anticipated for early 2012.
